What is TOAST?
TOAST is the Tikun Olam at Stanford Team! We combine tikkun olam, jewish values, and direct action to organize events across Stanford and the community to the issues we view need our help.
A few of the events we've put on or are in the works:
1. Baking for EPA Senior Center
2. Stanford Food Pantry Pop-Up
3. Volunteering with Friendship Circle
4. A visit to San Quentin Prison
If you’re interested in learning more about a particular issue, bringing an organization to campus, putting together a volunteer activity, doing public service in a Jewish community context, or hanging out with action-oriented Jewish friends, this is the group for you!
